FAQ

  • The platform is experiencing issues with accounts set with a Kyiv time zone. The technical team is working on a solution but in the mean time we ask users to change the time zone. To do this you will need to log in, click on your profile picture -> My account. Then click on "Manage personal data". Select a different Time zone other than Kyiv and save it. The form should now work. We apologize for this inconvenience.

  • To start, you will need to set up an account for your organisation. This account can be used for every current and future application as well as report you submit to the KKF, and you will also be able to see past applications and reports submitted through this portal. To submit a new application, please click the orange button at the bottom of the Optimy landing page https://submissions.karlkahanefoundation.org/en/. From there you can follow the different screens and fill in the questions asked. 

    If currently we do not have any application cycle open, you will not be able to see any application form to fill in and will receive an note accordingly. To learn more about our application cycles, please visit our funding website.

  • All application and reporting forms are available on KKF’s new Grant Management System. The link to this submission portal is available on our Funding Page during the published application periods. Already running grantees can access the portal with their link at any time. The correct/corresponding form will appear automatically after your registration/login-in on the platform. 

  • Yes, there is an autosave option. It applies:

    • every 2 minutes;

    • every 30 seconds after new data has been entered or a change has been made;

    • after having entered a first answer and started replying to the second question;

    • when clicking on “previous screen” or “next screen”;

    • when clicking on another screen on the menu on the left hand side of the interface.
  • If you use Internet Explorer 7 or 8, please try again with a more recent version (Internet Explorer from the 9th version) or with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.

  • You can check your submitted project applications by:

    • opening the PDF you received in the confirmation of reception email after you submitted your application.
    • going to "My account / Manage my requests" on the top right and by clicking on the link "view" under the specific application part of your project.

  • Due to the high volume of project applications which we receive, we can only accept one application per organisation. If you have multiple potential projects, please make an internal assessment and choose to apply with the project that best fits our funding criteria.

  • If you are sure you have the correct address, please check if your cookies are activated in your browser by clicking on this link: https://www.whatismybrowser.com/are-cookies-enabled. If the answer is "yes", you will have to delete the cookies.

  • In this case there are three possibilities :

    • The email address you entered doesn't match any of the email addresses registered in our database. In this case, please check which email address you used to create your account (a confirmation email was initially sent to you), then click on "Lost password" and enter the correct email address.
    • You have made a typing error when entering the email address to which the link to create a password must be sent. Click on "Lost password" and enter the correct email address.
    • You haven't entered the correct email address when creating your account. Please contact the Karl Kahane Foundation via our contact form and ask us to replace the first email address with the correct email address.

    Note: If you have clicked more than once on "Lost password", only the last link received will be valid.

  • If you have clicked more than once on "Lost password", only the last link received will be valid. Please make sure that you choose the last link received. If necessary, wait a couple of minutes as the last email might still not appear in your email inbox.
